Five ways to start, at your own pace.

Most people begin with individual therapy. Some need two people in the room, or a way back into their body first.

All therapies and fees

A house,
not a clinic.

Six consulting rooms over three floors of an 1820s townhouse. No reception desk and no waiting-room television, just a kettle in the kitchen and a garden out the back.

In their own words. Shared with permission.

Real progress rarely sounds dramatic. Names are withheld.

I came in convinced I just needed to try harder. Six months later I sleep, I say no to things, and I like my own company again.
Individual therapy, 2025
We’d had the same fight for three years. Tom never took a side. Somewhere around the fifth session we started actually listening.
Couples therapy, 2024
Ruth let me be as sad as I was. Nobody else had done that. It sounds small, and it changed everything.
Bereavement counselling, 2025
Four breathwork sessions and I stopped waking at 3am. I still don’t fully understand why it works. It works.
Breathwork course, 2025
I’d put off calling for two years. The free call took fifteen minutes and I wish I’d done it sooner.
Individual therapy, 2024
Hannah didn’t hand me a diet. She asked about my week, my sleep, my job. The food part came last and it stuck.
Nutrition, 2025
Arjun was patient with things I’d never said out loud. The memories are still there; they just don’t run the day.
EMDR therapy, 2024
Online sessions from Inverness, and it never felt like a video call. Daniel made it easy to keep showing up.

Both. Counselling tends to be shorter and focused on something specific; psychotherapy can go deeper and longer. On your free call we’ll suggest what fits, and you can change your mind later.

You don’t need to. Tell us what’s going on and we’ll suggest one or two people. If the first session doesn’t feel right, we’ll help you switch, with no awkwardness.

Some people come for six to eight sessions with a clear focus; others stay for a year or more. You review progress with your therapist every few weeks and decide together.

Yes. Everything stays between you and your therapist, who discusses their work anonymously in clinical supervision. The only exception is a serious risk to your safety or someone else’s, which we explain at the start.

Some of our therapists are recognised by private medical insurers. Check what your policy covers, then mention it on your free call and we’ll tell you who can see you under it.

We’re not an emergency service. If you’re in crisis, call NHS 24 on 111, Samaritans on 116 123 at any hour, or 999 if your life is at risk.

Whenever you’re ready.

A free 15-minute call, no forms to fill in first. We’ll listen, suggest someone, and you decide.
